Changes for the good of the East District & all ALA members
When elected, Jim will:
- Hold hybrid in-person meetings with Zoom to encourage increased member participation
- Limit fee increases through sensible spending and oversight on legal costs and "pet projects"
- Restore accountability and trust with open, honest and full disclosure of information
- Simplify and streamline Bylaws and overly- complex ALA rules and procedures
- Instill in Board Members that their fiduciary duty to the members is a DUTY and not an option
- Conduct ALA member surveys on costly projects and other key decisions
- Stop backroom, closed-door decision making that violates the Transparency Policy
